Razzama Jazz Young Musicians Internship

The Razzama Jazz association is now offering young musicians the opportunity to play in a big band environment under our new internship program.

Any young musician who meets the minimum requirements listed below are welcome to join the band for regular weekly rehearsals and possible future performances. The internship program is geared to give aspiring candidates the opportunity to strengthen their musical skills and expand their playing experience.

Membership fees will be waived and the waiver is valid till the end of season (June); at that time the candidate will have the choice to become a full-time official member of the band.

Instrumentation spots available: Trumpet, Trombone, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, and Baritone Sax.

Minimum requirements:

• Must be 18 or older
• Be able to read music at a grade 3 level
• Have own means of transportation
• Attend weekly rehearsals
